Joanne said she had captured other phenomena in the night skies this year including a rocket launch, the northern lights and the milky way.

“One is the trichomes,” she said, referring to the crystal-like dusting on the buds and some leaves that appears clear or milky white for most of the plant’s growth cycle.

The one thing it's missing compared to dairy cheese, she notes, is the milky flavor that lactose would provide.

Videos show frothy, milky waters surging through the village in floods turned brown by mud and debris.

"The milky way is out, potential for the Northern Lights as well. Go somewhere dark and try and have a look out," he said.
