Fortuna

Daniel Fortuna is a tree specialist from March who has been responsible for putting up the town's Christmas trees for the last two years.

He was a fan of Harris’ writing, and had read the book while filming the shipwreck limited series “La Fortuna” in Spain.

The Houthis separately claimed an attack on the Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier Navis Fortuna as well, a ship that had been broadcasting its destination as Italy with an “all Chinese” crew to avoid being targeted.

Once completed, the Eel would be the longest free-flowing river in the state, flowing north through the Coast Ranges before emptying into the Pacific Ocean near the town of Fortuna.

Fortuna lives in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, but she was in Iowa to visit family.
