Kombucha — the beloved moldy, fermented drink that hit astronomical popularity in recent years but was first brewed millennia ago — is one such success story.

It comes from Atomo, one of a band of alt-coffee start-ups hoping to revolutionise the world of brewed coffee.

Per Starbucks policy, customers can add up to 4 ounces of any non-dairy milk of their choice at no extra cost to hot or iced brewed coffee or tea, cold brew and Americano drinks.

In a nod to the brewery's foundations, the caption read: "We're now proud co-owners of Wrexham Lager, brewed since 1882, which is why we're using 1882 technology."

Sato further explained that San-J's tamari is brewed with 100% soybeans and has about 37% more soy protein compared to typical soy sauce.
