trundle bed

A trundle bed had been set up for Brigit.

The fourth bedroom on this floor, also with a bathroom, has custom bunk beds combined with a trundle bed.

Propped higher than a couch, the floor clearance allows for a trundle bed with another mattress or stowing workout equipment.

Mine is technically also our guest bedroom — we have plans to put in a trundle bed / couch-type thing just behind where I usually sit, but it doubles as a pretty spacious office.

When Laura and Mary had said their prayers and were tucked snugly under the trundle bed’s covers, Pa was sitting in the firelight with the fiddle.
