Republican Sen. Bud Estes, of Dodge City, said he doesn’t want lawmakers to “skate on thin ice” on something they know nothing about.

“Some skate on thin ice, and they let it go up, and we systematically try to rebalance when we get together,” says Benjamin Wheeler, a financial planner in Minneapolis, adding that he recommends a 10% ceiling for individual stock exposure.
