Hospital pharmacists will typically make bespoke medicines for highly dependent patients with niche needs.

She worries that her employer will question the prescriptions she writes for medication abortion pills and said pharmacists often refuse to give the medication to her patients.

The Department of Health in England says it wants all pharmacists to work with it to achieve a service fit for the future.
