Hotels' restaurants have opened and there is a petrol station with a shop trading on Sundays.

Staff at a nearby BP petrol station told the BBC they had to seal off pumps to prevent an explosion as fireworks were being launched into the restaurant next door.

The addresses on two of the licences match up to a business site and a location in the middle of a road near a petrol station - not residential addresses.

“We had orders to come here, but we didn’t know what that meant,” Tomash admits as he pauses for a coffee at a petrol station.

She said a friend of her husband, who was from India, had recently been verbally abused while at a Cardiff petrol station.
