But on reflection, Evans decided to write the book not so much for himself as “for young people, people who have struggled with their identity, people who may be lost, living in a small town in the middle of nowhere, or who were raised in a highly religious household,” he says.

The vast majority of missing tickets would be from "tiny little stations in the Welsh mountains or in the Scottish mountains, or right out in the middle of nowhere," he said.

“It was so difficult for my dad and my friends to get to, because it was in the middle of nowhere,” she said.

“One of the people in our group joked yesterday and said maybe they need to just pick a piece of land in Kansas out in the middle of nowhere where they can have their conventions. They are disruptive to downtown communities and they are disruptive literally to democracy because they are not even giving people the chance to speak to the very people that need to hear us…For them to remove us out of the action is absolutely outrageous.”
