But Zurich is talking about a tripling or a quadruple in the number of human beings on the move that is going to collapse borders.

“For me, home now is us standing together in solidarity as human beings and not leaving one another alone,” Maleki says, wiping tears from her face.

"There has been a push within humanitarian agencies to start seeing people in a crisis first as human beings and not as victims, and I think that’s a big, big change," he tells the BBC.

"It was a fantastic connection and I will always be thankful to them. It was hard to leave for sure because there was a good connection in terms of human beings."

But I think this is just an opportunity for us to start figuring out how to come together as human beings and find out how to work together and who knows what could happen.
