What awaits might be just a dive, but a hot bowl of ramen rarely fails to hit the spot.

After Teatro ZinZanni didn’t hit the spot for me, I went to a handful of Seattle’s popular all-in-one nightlife venues to find out who is doing what well, and to get a read on the food and the vibes to see what kind of patron might most enjoy each establishment.

Although these muffins hit the spot anytime, I especially have a taste for them right now with the azaleas in full bloom and nature is all abuzz.

“Oh, that would hit the spot,” Dad said.

While some staff members could argue that Diet Coke goes with any book, the abundance of tasty, seasonal drinks in the fall and winter particularly hit the spot when reading this time of year.
