“Life should be about enjoyment and having fun and having that sense of wonder. We want people to walk away feeling, ‘wow’ — drenched, yes — but that they have been on a magical journey where you’re getting a chance to feel a city, and hear the music of the city,” says Smith.

“Before, it was like, we can’t mess this up, we can’t do that wrong. But now we’re playing football and having fun. I think the best thing about football is when you have fun and you give it your all, you go out there and make plays.”

"The key is, are they having fun? Where are the friction points? And that's what we're analysing," he says.

“Everyone’s been that guy at the party where you’re the only one having fun, and there were points when that was me.”

I was just having fun at the Olympics and everybody turns it into whatever they want to.
