For Ms Holding, who passes the site of her dad's death each day on her way to work, what happened to him is "like an elephant in the room" when the family gets together.

In the Zeshaan household there is a ground rule - conversations about politics are not allowed when the family gets together.

But he still gets together each week for cocktails over Zoom with younger members of his fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi.

"We all help each other… We are all competitors, but when it comes to any problems everybody gets together and helps," he said.

“Hopefully everything gets together so we can get on a roll.”
