A former police officer from Northern Ireland has been jailed for 11 years after he admitted attempting to murder his ex-partner and her mother at a funeral home in the Borders.

On Friday, family members, friends and activists against gender-based violence viewed her coffin at a funeral home in the Kenyan town of Eldoret, before it was driven away.

A former police officer from Northern Ireland has admitted driving his car through the window of a funeral home in the Borders injuring his ex-girlfriend and her mother.

“I’m never going to get a dime from them, so, I don’t know, it’s a little frustrating,” Crystina Page, who hired the funeral home to cremate her son’s remains in 2019, told the Associated Press.

They released her body to a funeral home and notified her family of the recovery, the post said.
