Throughout his throwing program, Kershaw wowed coaches with his fluid mechanics, releasing pitches “free and easy,” as pitching coach Mark Prior described it, without any hitches or post-surgical delivery flaws.

“He came out of it feeling good, feeling strong. There was no tentativeness. I didn’t see him guarding anything. He felt free and easy.”

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in a statement said it is “committed to providing free and easy access to sanitary napkins, panty liners, and tampons” so women in custody “can focus on their rehabilitation with dignity.”
