Following the closure of his daughter’s case, Thomas created a nonprofit called Fathership.

“Everybody is armed,” said Jonathan Wilson, director of the Fathership Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Southwest Philadelphia that has been helping to conduct a multicity survey of young people’s attitudes about gun culture.

What my character does in this film is to take someone who otherwise would not have the advice, the fathership that I provide, let alone the skills.

This selection of 14 photographers deconstructs traditional portrayals of fatherhood with a variety of approaches to reveal the complexity of modern fathership.

He is strictly the Father whom His children imitate so far as they are His children; in Him Fathership and Kingship are identical.
