In the men’s +90kg J2 competition, Christopher Skelley won bronze, while GB beat Poland to third in the wheelchair fencing men's team epee.

Britain's Dimitri Coutya claimed his second Paralympic gold medal with a dominant display in the men's individual epee B final.

The wheelchair fencer's Paralympic gold is an upgrade on the bronze he won in the same event in Tokyo three years ago and will add to the European titles in both foil and epee B events he secured in March and in 2022.

“I had an awful start to be honest with you,” said the 31-year-old, who won team foil silver and team epee bronze in Tokyo.

Tunisia have a silver from Fares Ferjani in the men's individual sabre, while Mohamed Elsayed won bronze for Egypt in the men's individual epee on Sunday.
