And so, how do we make this unlikeable character someone that we can empathize with, without being caught up in whether she's likable or not?

And I think being able to empathize with someone that you don't like, that's a tricky thing to try to navigate, whilst also trying to tell a truthful and authentic story.

I mean, I have to empathize with her in order to play her.
