The coral is a species called Pavona clavus and provides a home to shrimp, crabs, fish and other marine creatures.

It was 3 March 2021 when Billy noticed the emaciated animal, who he later named Molly, cracking crabs near his house in Shetland.

They feed on small reef fishes, shrimps, octopuses, crabs, sea urchins and lobsters.

As you amble past the rocky shores, you’ll glimpse seabirds, crabs, lobsters and seals.
