Now a research team from Chalmers University of Technology, in Sweden, has created a unique system that combats the dilemma, thus paving the way for longer computation time and more robust quantum computers.

The Princeton-led team's machine learning approach slashes the computation time from tens of seconds to the millisecond scale, opening the door for real-time optimization.

For now, the GCR system requires a lot of computation resources, so it won't be available on any personal devices just yet.
