There are plenty of true predators out there who trade, or seek to trade, the benefits of power for sexual favors – or who simply assault in egregious manners without so much as a return back-scratch.

The most potent, and poignant, tribute in the sweet back-scratch of a documentary “Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards” is that Anna Wintour lets you see her eyes.

But in Errani’s latest version of her serve, she brings the racket into back-scratch position with her right hand as she is bouncing the ball with her left.

“It was long and smooth and fine in 2004. I actually think her motion now looks more likely to cause a shoulder problem, because it’s a little more rigid. She also has a bit of a lag in her take-back and doesn’t go all the way up to the back-scratch position. She kind of stops halfway which I don’t think is great for your shoulder or rotator cuff either.”
