An anaesthetics trainee in the Midlands told the BBC he was concerned that an AA in his area was added to the registrars' list.

Soon after he joined the RUH, he reported a dentist for unsafe use of anaesthetics and x-rays.

On Tuesday he said it was "terrible" that Palestinian children were dying in large numbers, adding that the sight of operations being performed on children without anaesthetics "evokes special feelings".
