February is the time to see the amazing natural light glow that appears on an El Capitan waterfall for just a few weeks.

The phenomenon at Horsetail Fall on El Capitan occurs in a tiny window in late February when the setting sun hits the waterfall at the right angle.

There may be more exciting trails in L.A. with, say, the Hollywood sign or a waterfall at the end.
