In his first public remarks since he was spotted teary-eyed at Vice President Kamala Harris' concession speech, Walz acknowledged the pain he and other Democrats are feeling.

But don’t count me among the teary-eyed hand-wringers who wonder how the country I love so much has been flushed down the toilet.

“We definitely got a little teary-eyed,” John Edman said.

“It was so touching to me, just talking about it makes me almost teary-eyed. I was just so grateful that she did that. It was a very personal note.”
