The offences took place between 5 and 15 March 2021 - soon after the 33-year-old marketing executive was kidnapped and killed by serving Met Police officer Wayne Couzens.

A Glendale man owed an Orange County couple $80,000, so he shot the husband, kidnapped and killed the wife, set their bodies on fire and returned to their home to steal almost $250,000 worth of luxury goods, authorities allege.

His family believe he was kidnapped in July 2020 by Iranian agents in Dubai, where he was waiting for a connecting flight to India, and then forcibly taken to Iran via Oman.
