King Charles III is to mark his 76th birthday by opening two hubs that will distribute large volumes of surplus food to food banks, schools and community centres.

The King will visit a "surplus-food festival" and meet some of the people who have benefited, with the new hubs intended to increase the food saved.

"With over 300 member clubs and districts, Welsh rugby is a pervasive and positive force in this area throughout the country, with our clubs serving as hubs and gathering places for all those involved to share problems and help each other," it added.

The hubs fitted to smart meters in central and southern regions, receiving the cellular signal, usually have five of these indicator lights.

Other Southern California voting hubs were targeted after the polls closed.
