Dropped anchors from cruise ships can exact damage.

The MS Aurora, a 70-year-old cruise ship that inspired TV’s ‘The Love Boat,’ sits abandoned in a slough outside Stockton.

New hotels are also being built and the port is being redeveloped so cruise ships can dock there to accommodate excess visitors.

He took in projection dinner shows on cruise ships, animated table shows, some more traditional dinner theater and, of course, elaborately themed restaurants.

"I was working on a cruise ship at the time," Chris explained.
