The famous primatologist and conservationist settles into a high-backed chair that dwarfs her slender frame.

In the early 1900s, the conservationist and anthropologist Madison Grant, who helped establish Glacier National Park and the Bronx Zoo, wrote pseudoscientific tomes about the coming extinction of white people.

He was guided through the National Park by park rangers, firefighters, mountain rescue volunteers, biodiversity experts and youth volunteers, led by Robert Irwin, the son of late wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin.

The museum is the brainchild of Nepalese conservationist Rabindra Puri, who is spearheading a mission to secure the return of dozens of Nepal's stolen artefacts, many of which are scattered across museums, auction houses or private collections in countries like the US, UK and France.
