From school board actions to mayoral decisions, what happens in one state doesn’t stay there – many state initiatives could end up in the MAGA-stacked U.S.

The school board justified this decision by making the curriculum "optional," but that's misleading.

These are decisions to be made at the state and local levels, and voters who don’t like what their school board decides can throw its members out at the next election.

“After today, there will be advocates here at every school board meeting … There’s going to be a lot more of us. It’s going to be standing-room only.”

Progressives took over the Santa Ana City Council and school board in 2022, thanks in part to Chispa and other groups.
