Palm Beach didn’t exactly roll out the red carpet for Donald Trump when he first arrived on the scene with his purchase of Mar-a-Lago in the 1980s.

Nigel Farage, Reform UK leader and a friend of Trump, said the president-elect was a "genuine friend of the United Kingdom" and urged the prime minister to "roll out the red carpet" for him.

"If there was ever a time to roll out the red carpet and put an actress on the map, this is it," said Screen Rant's Patrice Witherspoon.

As often happens, public officials have been working to roll out the red carpet for big investors, including trying to create a clear plan for infrastructure and a quicker permitting process.

Come 2024, Jennifer Lopez will roll out the red carpet for more than just her new album, “This Is Me ... Now.”
