The Memphis Police Department received multiple complaints on Feb. 15 about a post with images of a young girl appearing to apply hot wax to the pubic area of adults, the Commercial Appeal reported, citing an arrest affidavit.

Ms. Brooks said she and her teaching assistant were touched up to 40 times daily in the buttocks, breast and pubic area last spring while working at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School, but that the district failed to protect her despite her complaints.

Brooks sued the school district in June, charging in her suit that, in February 2022, a special education student began “grabbing her breasts, buttocks, and pubic area dozens of times each day” — but that school officials “did nothing to stop the assaults from occurring.”

Burgos then yanked the waistband of his boxers and used calipers to pinch his pubic area.

“I think the basis for the debate is not making a clear distinction between the stimulation that’s applied and how specific it is to the genitals, as opposed to the rest of the pubic area,” Komisaruk says.
