“Why don’t you try a few private classes until you get the hang of it?” the studio owner suggested after I complained that she didn’t offer classes for rank beginners like me.

“See? I knew you’d get the hang of things.”

“But, once you get the hang of it — you’re running it every day in practice.”

The instructions may seem like a lot, but once you get the hang of it, it really can become an easy weeknight addition to your repertoire.

Practice ends right around the time I’m finally starting to get the hang of it.
