I don’t say this in the spirit of argument, but because I think it speaks to your state of mind that at present you seem unable to acknowledge information that doesn’t validate your self-loathing.

For media organizations, that means some of the most difficult decisions are limited to deciding if, and how, to acknowledge information that, seems to publish itself.
