From the ages of 2 to 18, Jay would sit Ella down and ask the same couple of questions — including how she would describe herself and how she would define the word “power.”

“I think overall just the word power comes to mind with all three of them — Jordan and Tim and then Jones with what he’s done,” McDermott said.
