Following P&G’s February presentation, Toronto-based Tralucent Asset Management opted to bet against P&G’s share price, rather than invest in the company in the longer term.

Tyler White, a Tralucent analyst who attended the presentation, said the cost cuts seemed to be an effort to make up for a slow-growth outlook.
