Plaintiffs attorney Christopher Mattei showed a video from Jones’ Infowars web show in which he called the mass shooting “phony as a three-dollar bill” and called the parents of the victims “crisis actors.”

The book’s title refers to a pricing code for three, an odd number associated with gayness — “as in three-dollar bill,” he said.

Though he now tries to distance himself from the allegations, Jones repeatedly insisted to his millions of followers that Sandy Hook was “fake … you’ve got parents acting ... it’s just the fakest thing since the three-dollar bill”.

“Okay, fine. I’ll give you a three-dollar bill.”

“I’ve never seen a three-dollar bill,” he says.
