The end of the pandemic emergency has prompted most states to start paring their Medicaid rolls, throwing millions off the program who are still eligible but don’t know it.

“They had asked me to stay and to become a regular at the end of Season 1, and I was young and I wanted the opportunity to kind of have my own thing,” Murray says.

“I’ve always said, if you’re not an emotional wreck by the end of one of my films, I failed,” says Elliot.

“I’m quite cruel to my protagonists. I drag them through the mud, I torture them, they suffer a lot of trauma, but then I reward them at the end.”

Each year, starting around Thanksgiving, culture vultures get to unwrap an early present: a raft of films, TV shows, concerts and more that fill the calendar through the end of the season.
