Mencken once said, “Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to get it good and hard.”

That, as you know, evolved in the U.S. after the War of Independence to exclude the common people from participation in the political process and to favor and support the elites.

It's a group of fascist geeks who think the common people aren't smart enough to be trusted with self-governance and need to be ruled over by an intellectually superior elite.

And, of course, the elite are permitted to express their sexuality how they wish, while the common people's sexuality is controlled through abortion bans and other restrictions on our rights.
