Amid concerns about protests, strikes, security and whatever might be floating in the Seine, the City of Light is about to strike a pose on its years-long Olympics runway.

Strike a Pose Studio 54 Ball: Strike A Pose and Seattle Pride are joining forces to bring the community a Pride ball like never before.

By celebrating 50 years of Pride, Strike a Pose and Seattle Pride welcome the community to celebrate lived experiences, access community resources, and opportunity to uplift the SeaTac Ballroom community.

The 50th anniversary celebration includes a timeline of Seattle’s queer history, a permanent commemorative site in Pioneer Square; a Beneath the Streets queer history tour; a Studio 54 Ball in collaboration with Strike a Pose; and a 50th anniversary queer youth art exhibit, “The Pride in Seattle,” on June 6, curated by Pride youth interns.

There’s also a special corner decorated with disco balls where celebrities will be able to stand and strike a pose.
