Martinez and the Rodriguez’s family criticized the CHP for not spreading the word about the possibility that somebody has been throwing objects at vehicles on the highway.

“When a pastor invited Matthew Ngosa to their church to sing but couldn’t pay him, he would not bother that pastor because for Matthew, singing was part of his ministry. He took it as a way of spreading the word of God.”

“The press was largely regarded as a neutral arbiter ... and could be useful in spreading the word of the causes around which the protest occurred,” he said.

She said she isn’t sure if it’s because of influencers spreading the word about the donations or it’s just an increase in awareness.
