“She was very fit, sporty. Wearing a headband, and sunglasses. Her buttons were done up and she was wearing a scarf,” the detective adds.

"I was always very sporty growing up, I dipped my toe in everything that I could," he said.

At the time, I had big curly hair, I was wearing a sporty dress, and he said, “Oh, you look like a circus girl, you can start tomorrow.”

"She was sporty but not in a big way. She tried out a few clubs at university but didn't really like them," Mr Brayshaw said.

He thought maybe something sporty was in his cards.
