Second Coming

Trump shared such a video recently, called "God Made Trump," which portrays the allegedly butt-smelly former president as the Second Coming.

With the 2024 presidential election approaching, Trump is increasingly suggesting that he has been chosen, almost as a messianic figure or the Second Coming.

“Things fall apart,” W. B. Yeats wrote in his 1920 poem “The Second Coming,” “the centre cannot hold.”

It’s no surprise that believers in the Second Coming are significantly more likely to oppose governmental attempts to fight climate change.

The verse is from “The Second Coming,” one of the Irish poet’s many commentaries on his own country’s cultural and class wars.
