Quavo, 32, has rarely spoken publicly about his loss, save for a YouTube video posted days ahead of the August release of “Rocket Power,” his second solo album and a definitive statement of grief and purpose that he figured precluded public questioning.

He also doesn’t consider “Set It Off” to be an homage to his late cousin, either, unlike Quavo’s solo record “Rocket Power” released in August.

It follows Migos’ Quavo’s second solo album, “Rocket Power,” a lively and powerful tribute to Takeoff.

“Rocket Power,” was scheduled to be released two weeks ago, but was delayed to “run some more tests before the rocket is ready to launch,” Quavo wrote on Instagram.
