We are entering the third act, possibly the beginning of the end of representative democracy, but that too isn’t surprising to me given there has been a slow creep towards techno-feudalism and oligarchic capitalism.

The ultimate goal is to enable oligarchic domination and facilitate financial looting by the uber-wealthy.

The progressive machine’s grip on the reins of power in L.A. should never be underestimated — but nor should the appeal, in a time of professional political failure, of the oligarchic alternative.
