The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of appeals has issued an emergency stay stopping work on the installation of more than 100 units of modular housing on the U.S.

Carter initially spurned that offer while working with attorneys in the case to identify parcels where an initial 106 modular units of temporary housing could be placed.

In his opening move to implement his ruling, Carter ordered the VA to install 106 modular units on three locations on the campus including the parking lot for UCLA’s baseball stadium.

In a matter of months, if a federal judge’s order holds up, the parking lot for UCLA’s Jackie Robinson Baseball Stadium will be filled with modular housing.

Sophisticated tuning and acoustic setups were installed — including a fly system overhead and modular door panels surrounding the stage — that will allow for much greater control over sound at different types of concerts.
