KidStuff said the matter was being handled by lawyers.

The boy, from KidStuff nursery in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, was taken on an outing to the zoo last week.

The company was founded by two mothers with retail and marketing experience who wanted to share the endless flow of "kidstuff" that arrived with parenthood.
