Joseph-Akuso Suaalii has always been in a rush.

"I don't feel I'm in a rush to settle down and have kids just because it's expected," she says.

"We're in a rush!" he exclaims.

It came in a rush of medals in the velodrome for Great Britain on day two of the 2024 Paralympics, started by Blaine Hunt as he won silver in the men's C4-5 1,000m time trial.

But it is plain that as a group, they have prepared just about as carefully as any opposition might have been able to, and they are in a rush to be able to show they can get things done.
