Scientific publications should be seen as 'living documents', with corrigenda an accepted — if unwelcome — part of scientific progress.

Perhaps there may be placed in the last section parts of a sheet—the title, addenda, corrigenda, frontispiece, diagrams, &c.

The corrigenda were originally inserted before the Foreword; they have been implemented, and moved to the end of the text for reference.

There is no reference to these corrigenda in the B. G. edition.
