Johnson died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a caesarean section eight years ago, spurring a public uproar and lawsuits by her husband against Cedars-Sinai and several physicians, which were ultimately settled.

Within a matter of days she was preparing not only for a Caesarean section to deliver her baby, but also to undergo chemotherapy and have a mastectomy.

She opted for chemotherapy until the baby was born via Caesarean section - without any disability.

Tamsin Mullen said she was kept in a side room for 27 hours after giving birth by caesarean section while her sons were taken to neonatal intensive care.

In April 2020, Ms Mullen’s two sons were born prematurely, at 34 weeks, by caesarean section.
