You will appreciate those crispy, browned bits on the edges even more than you thought after the cooler foods of summer.

In places the grasses are punishingly thick for this Open, but as fearsome as it looks, the rough has browned off, it is more brittle than juicy and therefore potentially playable.

In my first round of testing, I started with the zucchini in the oven, letting it roast until sufficiently browned, which takes about 35 minutes.
