With Trump’s takeover and the country succumbing even faster to some form of fascism and autocracy, the American people are going to have their values, morals, character and personal relationships tested.

“And together, what we’re doing is pushing back against increasing threats of autocracy and fortifying the institutions of democracy that our country and our states depend on.”

That alone would constitute a giant step away from the rule of law and toward autocracy.

So far the biggest voice specifically sounding the alarm about laughing our way into autocracy has been Marc Maron, who shared a post titled “The Democratic Idea” on that same Monday.

I bring it up because if Harris doesn’t win, people need to continue this fight to push back against autocracy, even with a dictatorial-minded president in the White House.
